The first surgical department operating outside the hospital in Vicenza

Feather in the cap of the Vignato health centre is the surgical department, a non-hospital Surgery among one of the first authorised in the Province of Vicenza.

Recognized, under Article. 6 of LR No 16.08.2002 22, as a dental practice – non-hospital Structure of surgery and general consultancy for Otorhinolaryngology and Ophthalmology – has two operating rooms adjoining avant-garde, with advanced instrumentation in accordance with the European safety regulations to ensure a complete peace of mind to patients on the results.

The instrumental equipment consists of:

- cardiac oximeters to detect the heartbeat, the level of blood saturation and blood pressure;

- defibrillator and resuscitator for the resuscitation of the patient;

- 2 peristaltic pumps set for implant placement;

- electrosurgical of molecular resonance Vesalius;

- piezosurgery, a tool for shaping and cutting the bone;

- Carl Zeiss microscope;

- climate air changer which provides 4 ionizers and an active air exchangers for air in rooms designed to always keep them isolated from the rest of the structure;

- two separated beds with a bathroom dedicated to surgical patients

The operating room is equipped with an autonomous power supply in case of power failure, maintaining operational the exhaust fan and all other tools provided.

A wide glass window that separates the operating area from the reunion room, also allows organising training courses for doctors.

An agreement with the Vicenza Hospital, at last, ensures our patients the availability of a bed at the hospital.
